Providing security for major V/Line Projects

As railway lines are an annually used service by the general public, it is vital that the best quality products are provided for the protection of equipment across railway tracks.

Australian Bollards has proudly supplied our Service Route Protection Posts to help keep Seaford Rail Depot’s railway track equipment safe. The AB-SRP2000-GAL is a stationary sub-surface mounted protection post which is designed to guide and show pedestrians areas that hold important equipment such as cables and routes.

The Protection Posts are also used as the perfect solution for both workers and other people so that they are aware that there is important equipment stored within the posts. They can also be used in any area where heavy construction occurs, or where components, systems and wires need to be stored and protected.

In order to prevent post rotation and to help keep the bollard stable within the pored concrete, the bottom of the bollard is flattened. The bollards are ideal for installations in construction zones such as railway tracks, which aids workers and pedestrians of the placement of important wires and cables. Manufactured in galvanised steel, these bollards can be powder coated white or yellow, which helps to delineate different cable joints.

Australian Bollards is proudly in partnership with the Level Crossing Removal Project, where we have provided our products and services with major train stations including Bentleigh, Springvale, Cardinia, Lynbrook, Nunawading, and Laverton. We have also provided for tracks of the major V/Line Project in Wyndham Vale. All projects have been successful with installations of handrails, perforated sheeting, balustrades, bollards, pedestrian gates, stairs and bump rails.
