Intercom Bollards - Providing Car Park Assistance
If you’re looking for extra added security to either your home or business, perhaps our architecturally designed intercom bollard is the ideal solution for you. Initially, an intercom is an electrical device that allows for one-way or two-way communication; and helps provide assistance to users.
Australian Bollards understands the importance of communication, our Intercom Bollards are compliant with the Disability Discrimination Act of 2005 (DDA), which provides user-friendly access. These bollards vary in size and shape; and can be customised to suit your requirements.
As we are committed to providing products of high quality, Australian Bollards intercom bollard complements any security system that is installed at the front entry/exit paths of any home, office or commercial facility. However, just like the image above, the intercom can also be installed in a carpark facility. These intercoms can be fabricated to accommodate a range of devices and appliances including control points, intercoms, help points and power outlets.
They are the most robust and industrial grade type intercom bollards in the market, which we can design, supply and install for any type of controlled entry/exit paths. As you can see, this intercom bollard has also been installed with a security camera, which is a great way to add security to the facility where the intercom is installed.
As security cameras are low maintenance and tamper resistant, this solution has been engineered for vehicle access monitoring, which adds vital protection when essential information is recorded from the camera.
Most of our standard Intercom Bollards can be used with video, audio, digital or analog forms of communication.
The bollard is operated by the user through a headset or monitor attached to the intercom. Once authority has been granted, the user can press the buzzer to release a door strike or electric locking device.
Additionally, although the Intercom Bollard is a communications platform, they can also be engineered to PAS 68 standards to prevent Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM). This means that the Intercom can also act as a bollard, with the ability to stop a 2.5 tonne vehicle travelling at 48kph.
