In the early morning hours of June 18^th (12:25am), a V12 Aston Martin crashed into tram stop 5 which can be found at the intersection of Elizabeth and Collins Street in Melbourne's CBD. 

Fortunately there were no fatalities or casualties caused by the crash and this can be credited to energy absorbing bollards.

The AB-EAB is also filled with VVH Grade Polystyrene foam which increases its shock absorbing capabilities, making it compliant with AS/NZS 1698:2006.
