St James Primary School acts on pledge to keep students safe

St James The Apostle Primary School at Hoppers Crossing has installed twenty three stainless steel bollards at the curb at their pick-up and drop-off zone. Before the installation, the curb presented a danger as students had to stand close to the moving traffic. Now the bollards create a barrier between students and traffic, keeping them safe during the busy morning and afternoon hours. The bollards make sure potential accidents won’t result in harm. Cars will be stopped before hitting the curb, preventing incidents like the one at Greenacre School in Sydney this Novem  ...read more

Never again ram-raids at Blackburn North

Only a few months ago, a man peered into a shop in Blackburn North. Soon after, he rammed his four-wheel drive into it and left without trouble. The store front was completely unprotected and unprepared for the attack. But not anymore. The event has made Blackburn North take steps to increase security around the building. By installing 168mm diameter bollards, an NJM Group propriety product, in front of the entrance, they have made sure ram-raids are now a thing of the past. The sub surface mounted, concrete backfilled bollards prevent unauthorised vehicles from forcing t  ...read more

An unfortunate incident happened a few nights ago when a woman apparently lost control of her vehicle and hit into the glass window of the McDonald’s restaurant in Campbellfield, a northern suburb in Melbourne. Luckily, there were no injuries. It was a strike of pure luck that nobody was sitting at the tables next to the window on a typically busy Saturday evening. Usually, Macca’s restaurants are packed with families, children, teenagers and locals of all ages. At the time of the incident there was no adequate impact protection outside the building structure of t  ...read more

Double ram-raid in south-east

Yet another ram-raid occurred in Melbourne few weeks ago, with a trio of thieves stealing an ATM machine from the Peninsula Home shopping centre.
