New South Wales is aiming for safety with more drones flying over its beaches. The drones will help lifeguards spot dangers in the water which will result in earlier action and more lives saved. The push for increased drone presence comes after a trial of drone assistance on the NSW north coast in 2017 and this movement is expected to continue in the coming years. Early on Wednesday morning a gunman entered a Springvale 7-Eleven store with the intent to rob it. The incident ended with an employee being shot in the elbow and the robber fleeing. This has not been a solitary event. Earlier this month, a Richmond 7-Eleven hosted a robbery and last year we saw a terrifying incident where a woman attacked complete strangers with an axe. Ram-Raid Spree on Shepparton Businesses

A man rammed his Ford Falcon into several Shepparton businesses on Sunday night on the Goulburn Valley Highway, Maude Street and Wyndham Street. Police say he started ram-raiding businesses around 6:30 PM where he damaged the offices of Nine News, Prime News and the Shepparton News. He also targeted Stockdale and Leggo and a Centrelink office where he damaged a glass panel and sliding doors at the entrance. Thieves Ram-Raid Frankston Anaconda Store

Thieves ram-raided a Frankston Anaconda clothing store on Tuesday at 6:20 AM this week. Police say the men, aged from 25-30 years old, rammed a stolen Ford Territory into the storefront before getting away with thousands of dollars’ worth of North Face clothing. A man told 3AW breakfast he saw the black SUV lodged in the store’s front doors about 7:15 AM and alerted authorities. Police are currently investigating the burglary. The city of Melbourne was left exposed last week after two separate incidents in the CBD resulted in injured pedestrians, damaged street objects and destroyed cars. One of the accidents was caused by the driver of a stolen car, with the other accident only being minutes apart in Market Street. Geelong Businesses Laid Bare For Ram-Raids

Three men are still on the run from police after a series of ram raids in Geelong this week. The masked burglars got away with cigarettes and power tools by using a sledgehammer to smash the front windows at a Bellarine Highway service station, then successfully ram-raiding a commercial property on Murradoc Road, in Drysdale. These “masked thugs” also attempted to ram raid another Drysdale business, but were unsuccessful.
