Potential Copycat Ram-Raid in Sussex

A forklift was used to demolish the wall of a co-op supermarket in Sussex last week which resulted in three thieves getting away with an unknown amount of cash from an ATM. The group then abandoned the forklift to escape in another vehicle, leaving what a police spokeswoman said was “Significant damage” inside the store and to its exterior wall. Coles Supermarket Ram-Raided in Seaford

CCTV captured a ute smashing through the entrance of a milk bar, a Coles supermarket and a smoke shop last week. The footage also shows the vehicle crashing into benches and shopping trollies before ram-raiding the roller door of a smoke shop. Police believe their objective was to steal cigarettes, although they left empty-handed. An early morning ram-raid has potentially cost a Perth business owner tens of thousands of dollars on Thursday. The event which occurred at around 2am, involved a gang of masked thieves ramming their way into Kalamunda Cycles with a four-wheel drive. Using bolt cutters, they stole some of the most expensive bikes in the store; a haul totalling around $16,000 in value. Stolen Cars Used to Ram-Raid ATM

CCTV cameras caught a group of thieves on Sunday morning as they ram-raided an ATM in Bangara, NSW. The four offenders had previously stolen a Toyota Hilux from a nearby residential property and then proceeded to ram it into the Regional Australia Bank ATM on Maitland street at 3:30 AM on Sunday. The group then damaged the bank’s front wall and entrance with the stolen flatbed ute while two of the thieves attempted to rip the ATM from the wall, but were unsuccessful. Ram-Raid Spree on Shepparton Businesses

A man rammed his Ford Falcon into several Shepparton businesses on Sunday night on the Goulburn Valley Highway, Maude Street and Wyndham Street. Police say he started ram-raiding businesses around 6:30 PM where he damaged the offices of Nine News, Prime News and the Shepparton News.
